Description

The Domaine des Entrefaux is a vineyard located among the most beautiful terroirs of the AOC Crozes-Hermitage, an organic work with biodynamic influences, delicate breeding. Another significant quality, the prices, still affordable! To discover, therefore, urgently.

Located in Chanos-Curson, the Domaine des Entrefaux covers 26 hectares in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. This family estate is managed by Charles and François Tardy, who are truly committed to expressing as faithfully as possible the diversity of the terroirs on which the estate is located. They also took the turn of organic a few years ago, starting its conversion in 2009 (with an effective certification in 2011). To this clean viticulture, they also add some practices borrowed from biodynamics to maintain microbial life and fight against wood diseases. They also work their soils, leave rows grassy and limit yields. The vineyard, which is located on a stony terrace called "Les Chassis", is planted mostly with Syrah, with also 4 hectares of Marsanne and Roussanne. To this are added two additional hectares, planted with viognier and chardonnay, and vinified in vinified in vin de pays.

In the cellar too the work is as natural as possible, with vinifications in indigenous yeasts, a minimal use of sulfur and manipulations limited to the strict necessity. The aging is carried out in finesse, with 40% lightning, 20% tank and 40% barrels (decreased).
