Antoine Sanzay has brilliantly taken over the family estate of 11 hectares in Saumur and Saumur-Champigny and produces great organic wines in red and white. Following the advice of the best winegrowers in the region, including Nady Foucault from Clos Rougeart, Antoine Sanzay produces some of the best organic wines in the region, true references of Saumur and Saumur-Champigny year after year.
Antoine Sanzay owns 4 hectares on the Poyeux terroir, one of the most prestigious in the Saumur-Champigny region. The vines are mainly based on siliceous-limestone and clay-limestone soils. The vines are conducted in organic farming, certified since the 2014 vintage. The aging is precise, the wines fair, with a nice fruit. We appreciate the purity and precision of Antoine Sanzay's wines. Do not hesitate to decant them before tasting them so that they express themselves at their best. He has a promising career as a great winemaker of the Loire region, already a priority to have in the cellar, especially as prices remain measured with regard to the quality of the wines.
