Description
Jacques Tissot inherited a plot of land from his father to create his own estate in 1962, and produced the first batch of yellow wine (vin jaune) in 1969, a mythical vintage. Today, the estate covers more than 30 hectares, divided between AOC Arbois and Côtes du Jura.
The son of a winemaker, he and his wife Michelle know how to highlight the character of Jura wines. His children Philip and Natalie joined them a few years ago.
Thanks to this complementarity, the new team has been able to bring modernity to the production and develop traditional circulation systems, producing wines listed in prestigious châteaux and on the table.
