The Domaine:
Family estate for 10 generations, extending over 59 ha currently, planted mainly in Sauvignon.
In the era of standardization, we have been avant-garde in the vinification of our wines by lieudit. Refusing modern winemaking techniques, we let nature do its work for the development of our wines.
We practice agriculture that respects the soil, water, living beings and natural rhythms, in order to produce lively and authentic wines! For us, this is the only way to take for our Sancerre terroirs to be sublime.
The entire Estate is cultivated in Biodynamic Agriculture. The lunar and biodynamic calendar punctuates our work in the vineyard and in the cellar. We are part of the Biodyvin group which brings together winegrowers practicing Biodynamics.

The Vineyard:
All of our plots are located on the steep hillsides around the village of Sancerre. These plots are located on the historically known localities of the Sancerre appellation.
Vine
The vine is our working tool; the instrument for creating great wines for the full expression of their terroir. That's why we give it as much care as possible.
Terroir:
One of the particularities of our domain is to vinify all its plots separately since the 80s. We were precursors of these vinifications in Sancerre.
We thus respect the terroir specific to each plot, which gives it different qualities while conducting the vinification in the same way, as naturally as possible and in identical containers.
Each terroir has its typicality, and in each of the wines from the same terroir, there are nuances due to the location of the vines themselves, their exposure, their age... So many cuvées which will be able to seduce you with their subtle flavors.
Biodynamics:
Among "organic" practices, biodynamics stands out for taking into consideration astral influences and the rhythm of nature, as well as for the use of homeopathic-type plant preparations aimed at rebalancing and revitalizing the plant rather than at revitalizing it. treat in case of illness.
Proposed in 1924 to respond to the concerns of farmers who already saw their land in danger, biodynamics is a cultivation method that goes much further than excluding the use of synthetic chemicals. It could be summarized summarily in the following three points:
