We will discover together an exercise very appreciated by wine lovers and professionals namely a horizontal on a single vintage: the 2005.

Too often we compare wines on different vintages. However, many factors influence the taste and aromatic appreciation of a wine: climate, terroir, grape varieties, ageing, vinification, on-call/ageing time, etc.
The interest of the horizontal on a vintage at perfect maturity (here the 2005, about 14 to 15 years of guarding in the cellar) makes it possible to remove the factor guard / aging to put them all equally.
Thus, we will be able to compare the ability of evolution of each of the wines on different terroirs and grape varieties. Who will do best? Bordeaux, Burgundy or Spain?
