Monthelie-Douhairet-Porcheret - Les Duresses - 2021 - Monthélie 1er Cru

White

Description

Located between the two great Meursault and Volnay, there is a string of vines well exposed south and east, with the same geological morphotype as its neighbors, less notoriety: Monthélie. This appellation does not have much to envy them. It is renowned for offering frank and lemony Chardonnay, full-bodied, fat and unctuous.

Know a bit more about the domain

Mr and Mrs Monthelie created the Domaine more than 300 years ago. Located in Monthelie, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, the Domaine then covers 13 hectares. It extends over the vineyards of Monthelie, Pommard, Volnay and Meursault, and has long been managed by the Monthelie and Douhairet families.
Today, Cataldina and Vincent, creators of good humor, passionately manage the remaining 8 hectares of the Domaine. Their philosophy: to perpetuate the family tradition, to always seek more quality by using new and modern techniques, while respecting the environment.
