Description

This wine was vinified traditionally in stainless steel vats then aged in barrels for 5 months.
there are two grape varieties 50% Grenache supplemented by 50% Roussanne, which gives a golden yellow color with green highlights.
The aromas are subtle and flattering, combining white-fleshed fruits with hints of almonds, citrus fruits and pastries.
The palate is ample, tangy with fat. Persistence of nose aromas on the finish

The Geniest family, coopers by profession since the 18th century, created Mas Saint-Louis, this historic 30-hectare estate in one piece to the south of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The slightly sandy soil is made up of terraces of rolled pebbles and strata of Burdigalian molasse typical of the appellation.
