One of Napa Valley’s pioneering wineries, we have long championed estate grown wines that express the unique spirit of our land, vines, and people. Now in our third generation, the dedication of our family is manifest in every aspect of our operation, from the soil to the table, including sustainable farming, thoughtful winemaking, and gracious hospitality.
We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard. We will explain to you the work done in the vineyard, then the work done in the vinification and finally the aging of the wines. Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.

Pioneers of Napa Valley, the Trefethen family is champion of the estate's wines. For three generations, they have taken care of their land, their employees and their customers, building a loyal following for their heritage of fine and age-worthy wines with a deep integrity of the place. Their approach embodies a deep respect for people and place. It stretches beyond the boundaries of their domain, knitting them into the fabric of Napa Valley. Over the past 50 years, they have helped create the Napa Valley Agricultural Preserve, co-founded the Napa Valley Grapegrowers, have held leading roles in Napa Valley Vintners and the California Wine Institute, have led the effort to build Napa Valley viticulture and winemaking centers. College, similarly supported at UC Davis, hosted the Napa Valley Cooking Class and established the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley AVA.
