Domaine de D.
Description

For 7 generations the winegrowers have followed the same path, that of natural work, without insecticides. The consecration in 2007 with the organic certification. Wines in Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Village Saint-Andéol, Côtes du Vivarais, each with its own specificities and history.

Underground, out of the norm, in music... each little original note added brings its share of freshness and surprise. A menthol aroma reminiscent of the after eight and its mint chocolate mixture. Or that tangy that serves as a proust madeleine when we think back to the sweets of our grandmothers.
We would be delighted to welcome you to make you discover the estate and its history and the work done to develop our wine!
Looking forward to seeing you again

The history of the Domaine Owned by the Pommier Family since 1780, the bastide has seen seven generations of farmers take care of the farmers' hillsides and leave their mark on the original building. Dated 1630, the central house was bought by Auguste Pommier under Napoleon. Farm buildings and cellars were added over the generations to give today a typical Provencal charm. Living from a traditional Ardèche polyculture, the estate was very early oriented towards the cultivation of the vine with the elaboration of a quality wine. The specific cultivation of silkworms (carried out in the late nineteenth century), added to the bastide typical architectural complements such as magnaneries where there are still many chimneys. It was in 2004 that Rachel and Raphaël Pommier, custodians of this family heritage, decided to renovate the rooms of the Domaine. By working with the old-age materials, they have revived this building while respecting its history and traditions. They offer you today 5 guest rooms with a very typical character, in a peaceful and country area. Raphaël POMMIER, the winemaker He took over from his father and his knowledge of agronomy allowed him to evolve and develop the field. Designated as the rebellious winemaker, he affirms his choices and his desires for peculiarities... In 2013, he received the winemaker's cook award at the SIRHA show alongside his coach Richard ROCLE of the Auberge de Montfleury, who received his 1st michelin star in 2019. See less
