Blend:
This cuvée is primarily composed of 50% Marsanne, an aromatic white grape variety that brings rich structure and complex aromas. It is complemented by 25% Clairette, which contributes to balance and freshness, as well as 25% Carignan Blanc, adding additional nuances to this blend.
Terroir:
The grapes for this wine come from vines planted in basalt soils, which add a mineral dimension to the wine's aromatic profile.
Winemaking:
The winemaking of this cuvée is meticulously carried out. The grapes undergo cold settling to remove impurities and are then directly placed in barrels. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in barrels, giving the wine a creamy texture and hazelnut aromas.
Aging:
After fermentation, this wine is aged for one year in barrels of 2 to 5 wines, allowing for a harmonious integration of the wood aromas. It is then transferred to tanks for an additional six months to refine its balance.
Tasting:
To fully enjoy this wine, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 12°C and decant it just before serving. On the nose, you can expect aromas of white-fleshed fruits, white flowers, hazelnut, and mineral notes. On the palate, it offers beautiful complexity, a creamy texture, and lively acidity, giving it great elegance.
