Dégustation privée
Selection cellar Maison des Millésimes Paris
The wine has a deep, brilliant ruby red color.
On the nose, it reveals beautiful aromatic intensity, with notes of ripe black fruits, particularly blackberries and blueberries, accompanied by a light bouquet of herbs and subtle hints of cedar. The overall effect is complex and elegant, with a depth that invites discovery.
On the palate, it is distinguished by great breadth and impressive concentration. The tannins are present, but perfectly ripe and well-integrated, bringing structure and roundness to the wine. The attack is ample, followed by a silky texture that envelops the palate, while maintaining a pleasant freshness.
The finish is long and elegant, with a lovely fruity and oaky persistence.

In 1855, Château La Lagune joined the prestigious circle of Grands Crus Classés as a 3rd Grand Cru Classé. Located on one of the most beautiful gravelly hilltops in the Médoc, the estate's origins date back to 1525, centered around natural watering holes. Vineyard production began in 1587, and the Chartreuse was built in 1730 by Baron Victor Louis, architect of the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux.
Since 2000, Caroline Frey and her team have injected new energy into the wine, striving for excellence. Their meticulous work, combining a superb terroir with a passion for detail, creates wines of great finesse, harmony, elegance, and balance, characteristic of this 3rd Grand Cru Classé.
