Château Carbonnieux blanc is a legendary wine. It is said that in the 18th century he entered the Sultan of Constantinople, thanks to his great clarity, under the name of "Carbonnieux mineral water", thus defying Koranic law.
The clay-limestone soils of the Garonne gravel located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation undoubtedly produce the best dry white wines in the Bordeaux region. Young, the Carbonnieux whites charm with their freshness, purity and aromatic intensity that is both fruity and floral. As they age, they develop notes of dried and candied fruit that offer a wide range of gastronomic combinations. The lots that will enter this classified growth will be assembled in such a way as to induce a beautiful bond between the grape varieties. The selected semillons will structure the vivacity of the sauvignon by bringing roundness and volume in the mouth.
The area of the vineyard is 42 ha in white. The average age of the vines is 30 years
