User profile description

The creation of Polynesia's first pure rum cane juice took several years of research. No pure rum cane juice of high quality was produced on the territory of French Polynesia. From this observation of absence was born the project to relaunch a production of sugar cane and a rum of very high quality. It took nearly six years to research and inventory the different ancestral varieties of sugar cane and to relaunch their cultivation on still virgin lands. At the same time, the avatea company located in the municipality of Paea in Tahiti, offered this project the essential tool, a discontinuous still and an invaluable know-how, twenty years of experience in the distillation of spirits. Mana'o Tahiti is the fruit of these years of work. This name means in reo Tahiti "to think", "to remember" and it resonates as a tribute to these exceptional sugar cane.
