Founded in 1870 by Ernest Granchère, the Distillerie de Fontagard is a family-owned company manufacturing cognac and spirits passed down from generation to generation. Historically, the Distillery of Fontagard produces eaux-de-vie for the largest Cognac Houses. Over the years, successive generations have diversified activities with passion by highlighting their know-how. Today, the Distillerie de Fontagard is organized into three distinct poles: – Distillation of Spirits – Wholesale Spirits Merchant – Merchant-Winemaker grape must and malts Sensitive to respect for the environment, we are very involved and anxious to protect it. This is how we recycle all our effluents, value our co-products and seek to constantly control our energy consumption and our impact on the environment.
