The Domaine de l'Ours Bleu is a somewhat improbable project that is the fruit of encounters, chance encounters and people curious about others and what they do. It's a promise made in a joking tone in the last century which, over time, takes shape because human ties have been woven, interest in wines has grown and the idea has remained... Today, the Domaine de l'Ours Bleu represents a vineyard area of ​​14ha which is managed by Jérôme Baillargeau in organic farming (100% of the estate in 2021). The areas are located around the operating headquarters (Montsoreau) in the Maine et Loire towns of Montsoreau (Saumur Champigny), Fontevraud and Brézé (Saumur) and, in Indre et Loire, in Savigny en Véron and Avoine (Chinon). This geographical location allows us to produce wines from the Saumur (7.5ha), Saumur Champigny (2.5ha) and Chinon (4ha) appellations. Two grape varieties are planted to date, chenin (white grape) and cabernet franc (black grape)
