Description
So far reserved for a few visitors, the Château Haut-Piquat and its unique setting in the Saint Emilionnais are opening up.
They open to allow me to welcome a small number of visitors while preserving the peculiarities of the property. A magnificent residence built in the 19th century, Château Haut-Piquat offers this summer for "lunch at the Castle" (limited to 14 people a day).
After welcoming you to the Castle, we will visit the property together.
From the vineyards to the winery, I would have the pleasure of presenting our vineyard in the heart of the castle park.
Then, as you walk the way from the harvest to the winery, you will understand what makes the identity of our wines shaped by the know-how of the crop manager, the cellar master and their team.
Then we will go to the terrace of the castle for a workshop Accords Mets - Wines around three of our wines taking advantage of the magnificent view of the park, the vineyards and the horizon.
On the menu of the Atelier Accords Mets - Wines "Gastronomy":
By turns playful and informative, always under the sign of conviviality and good humour, this workshop "Mets and Wines" are available around 3 wines, in 6 services of food/wine pairings.
During 1 hour, we will take the time to taste 3 of our great wines including two Saint Emilion Grand Cru, will travel their different terroirs and their vintages to feel and understand the effect of each on the wine and how they allow the wine to match with gourmet dishes by marrying flavors.
