Description

With family hands on barossais soils since the mid-1800s... and a belief firmly rooted in sustainable agricultural practices and the principles of their ancestors... Michael and Alisa Hart follow the courage of their convictions and their ancestral traces... to create a truly organic vineyard, producing a bold and authentic wine from the purest grapes that the Barossa Valley can offer.

We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard.
We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
We look forward to welcoming you to our vineyards very soon!

Hart of the Barossa is a brand of family craft wine, created by winemakers Alisa and Michael Hart. Planted in 1902, the Hart Block is the oldest certified organic vineyard in the Barossa Valley. Brave and faithful is Hart's motto embodied by our brave early ancestors who arrived in South Australia in 1845 with unwavering dreams of a fruitful life on earth. Among the first free settlers to acquire land in the wild Barossa Valley, the first address of these pioneers with seven children was a hollow tree on the banks of the North Para River. Today, we defend the Hart spirit and have preserved a fertile terroir in the heart of the Barossa. See less
