Description

Wines: Eponym is a serious cuvée, with elegant florality, combining precision and freedom of the fruit. Corcelette was born under the sign of elegance: the cherry and the cherry make up the nose. The mouth is laid, with a beautiful balanced binder, and a granite finish. Coming only from the vintage Champagne, the flowery offers an open nose suggesting stone fruits, with a touch of noble plant. The tight mouth and elongated tannin call for a nice guard. One is seduced by the depth of the Côte du Py, which gives the impression of breathing hot stones and volcanoes. The mouth is tight, with stretched tannins. The magnificent finish of this wine of great guard evokes citrus fruits and blue fruits.

We will then offer you a tasting of our best wines.
All this in a warm atmosphere, and a pleasant setting!
We look forward to seeing you soon for a tour of our Estate and a tasting of our wines!

Jean Foillard is one of the unmissable names of the Beaujolais landscape. A series of misadventures had led to his release from the Green Guide: it was normal to restore him. Known for his "nature" style, Jean made his debut in the family estate in 1981. With a firm hand, he has retained a free style, but without deviance, from which flow very regular wines, and very deep. Organic viticulture, sulphur-free winemaking, whole harvesting and cask farming are not the only keys to success, of course. Because to produce these wines "free" but precise, the careful monitoring under the microscope is one of the fundamental parameters. Jean Foillard gently passes the witness on to his son, Alex. After travelling the world, and taking over a few hectares of vines in his own name, he takes over step with the will to continue his father's work, while instiling his own sensibility. We feel a noticeable progression in the last vintages tasted, which leads to consider a second star. See less
