Description
The Punta or "the hill" (in Corsican): no need to look for it when arriving at the Domain, this name comes from a plot located in the heart of the vineyard of Aléria.
The men behind this Domain are Alain Lugarini and François Paoli (known as Fanfan). Originally from the lands they now cultivate, they are from Venaco and Tallone respectively. This is above all the story of two friends, who, after a past as co-operators, decided to make their own grapes.
The Domaine de la Punta was born in 2003, on the edge of National Route 198, so, unmissable, whether you came from the North or the South.
The first 10 hectares will produce 30,000 bottles: the adventure begins ...

The cellar, located on the edge of RN 198, includes administrative, commercial and production activities: from the reception of the harvest to the bottling. The equipment Since its creation, Domaine de la Punta has continued to invest in winemaking equipment, sometimes traditional, sometimes modern. So much so that today the Domaine offers a wide range of wines vinified in a variety of ways. Next to the stainless steel vat battery are 40hl Nomblot concrete vats for the vinification of the Amicizia cuvée. Newly arrived a wooden vat of 60hl, trunk, by Seguin Moreau, in which macerated syrah for the 2014 vintage; 18hl concrete ovoid tanks have also been integrated into the winery to ferment the vermentinu. Finally, in the buried cellar, barrels of various origins as well as the lightning bolts of 30hl Seguin Moreau allow us to grow and mature the red and white wines. The winery is also equipped with its own bottling chain, in order to respond quickly to the demand.
