Grapes harvested manually in French, Slovenian and American oak barrels
The harvest of all the vineyards of the Bodega F. Schatz is done 100% manually to obtain only the best grapes. However, in the modern cellar, the owner uses advanced methods for treading and pressing grapes, followed by fermentation in open vats. For the storage and aging of wines, the estate uses French, Slovenian and American oak barrels. After sufficient ageing and refinement, the wines are bottled and ready for sale at the Bodega F. Schatz.
We will then offer you a tasting of our best wines.

Visits at 1 euro means that they are made free of charge by the winemaker. This amount is requested to assure us of the seriousness of your request and to prevent the winemaker from blocking a visiting slot unnecessarily.

Bodega F. Schatz - Family cave located in charming Andalusia Nestled in the beautiful mountains, Bodega F. Schatz winery is located in the Serrania de Ronda wine region of Andalusia. Originally living in southern Tyrol in Italy and then moving to Korb in southern Germany, the Schatz family has been producing first-class wines since 1641. Friedrich Schatz, the owner of the winery, acquired the family winemaking business in 1982, with the intention of producing sophisticated wines. He replanted ancient vineyards, once cultivated by the Iberians and Romans in the city of Acinipo. The owner also introduced modern technology into the cellar, as well as a complete renovation of most of the winemaking rooms. Initially living in South Tyrol, Italy, and then migrating first to southern Germany, to Korb, the Schatz family has been producing first-class wines in several regions since 1641. Winery producing organic, biodynamic and natural wines, without adding sulphites The Bodega F. Schatz cultivates Finca Sanguijuela in a three-hectare vineyard. La Bodega is a home of high quality vineyards, of which six organic wines are made from nine grape varieties. The best is that the wines are not only organic, they are also biodynamic and natural, without added sulphites. Bodega F. Schatz grows high-quality Lemberger, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, as well as high-quality Petit Verdot, Chardonnay and Moscatel Negro. Using these premium grapes, the estate produces many sophisticated wines under the Sierras labels of Malaga DO. Bodega F. Schatz produces excellent red and white wines, accompanied by dry rosé wine.
