Château Virant offers a multitude of animations whose diversity is a richness. The goal is that everyone can have fun through sports activities, discovery and learning, relaxation.
Sports activities:
Naturally Château Virant is conducive to physical activity because surrounded by fields of vineyards, olive trees and hills: walks of all kinds, on foot, by bike, by electric scooter, on a sporty rhythm or relaxing. A historical arrowed path leads to the rock of Château Virant between vineyards and olive trees. After a 30-minute walk, you will reach the top of the building by stairs carved into the rock. An orientation table has been set up to explain the panorama that is available to the visitor. In the distance, the Holy Victory and the Holy Beaume, two emblematic massifs of Provence are very easily observable.
The rock of Château Virant is also a reference climbing site in Provence where easy routes and others dedicated to experts rub shoulders. Another attraction!
We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard.
We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Rules and conditions
Visits at 1 euro means that they are made free of charge by the winemaker. This amount is requested to assure us of the seriousness of your request and to prevent the winemaker from blocking a visiting slot unnecessarily.
In case of unforeseen events, we thank you for cancelling your visit to the platform and/or notify the winemaker directly.

Cheylan family Provence has been in the DNA of the Cheylan family since the 17th century. The earth is his identity. From family memory, the vine and olive tree have punctuated his daily life for more than 5 generations. When the Cheylan family took over Château Virant in 1974, they were able to express their know-how and continue to develop it. Every day is an apprenticeship and the work of the earth calls for humility. Thus each member of the family participates in the development of the property. Authenticity and the desire for excellence are very strong values. They sweat in each one. We are talking about know-how in the plural. Generations follow one another and each bring their visions, their improvements. It's a constant enrichment. The first generations acquired mastery and knowledge of the terroir, of the grape varieties, the present generations perpetuate the tradition and knowledge and combine it with the future. The Cheylan family reflects Provence: the old and the present. We can see the depth of the roots, the strong inking but also the constant dynamics that allow us to fit into the future. Some words in Provençal still embellish the talk of the old as well as the youngest.
