The estate covers 15 hectares on clay-limestone soil. The vines are 35 years old.
About 95% of the vineyard is planted in Cabernet franc to produce rich and fine wines in AOC Saumur Champigny.
We also have a few plots of Chenin that are used for the production of AOC Saumur.
To understand the distinctiveness of our wines, you have to climb to the top of a limestone cliff overlooking the Loire. Placed on the hillside, the plots of the estate express all the richness and nobility of the terroir of Saumur Champigny.
Our plots are among the most beautiful of the appellation. They are mainly grouped on the commune of Parnay and located on the hillsides.
The estate has been developed for 5 generations.
It was awarded the High Environmental Value (HVE 3) label in 2017 thanks to its focus on biodiversity development.
The estate has now begun its conversion to Bio with the assistance of Michel Chevré (technical consultant of the domain, operator of the Ecotard farm).
The locksmiths' estate is managed by Anatole de La Brosse with Pierre Derouin (Operations Manager) and Loïc Yven
