Description

Making Jurançon is a school of art and patience. An art where time is never really mastered because we always prefer the search for quality to that of quantity, from the vine to the bottle that we will uncork.
It goes through a work, noble, ungrateful sometimes, but always exciting. A long love affair with nature, which sometimes has to be accepted. This work is the constant accompaniment of the values that push us to make choices, those to limit yields in order to prioritize quality.
In the vineyard as in the winery, respect for traditional practices is combined with the constant progress of techniques to bring each harvest, each vintage to its highest level of perfection.
During your visit, we will show you our vines: planted on the south and west slopes of the Pyrenean foothills on clay-limestone soils, rich in rolled pebbles. These soils, with the required poverty and excellent water regulation, promote deep rooting of the vines.
We respect our terroir and nature through an organic culture - HVE3, organic fertilization and meticulous work in the vineyards, perpetuating ancestral know-how.
We will also explain the vines of our vineyard planted on the 5 grape varieties of the Jurançon appellation: Small and Large Manseng, Camaralet, Courbu and Lauzet.
Finally, we will explain the work at the winery with a specific winemaking for each variety and each type of wine.

Finally, we will end with the tasting of our different vintages.
