A family of winemakers Wine, a passion for terroir and taste. A subtle harmony that has been cultivated for many years at the Domaine de l'Idylle. In 1840, Francois Tiollier bought this property planted with vines and fruit trees. He built the house and named this magnificent place: the Domaine de l'Idylle. Albert TIOLLIER won his first wine competition in 1920. Henriette and André TIOLLIER, are the first to bottle their wine in the valley, pioneers of the valorization of authentic grape varieties. André Tiollier Bud vine - Tiollier family In 1975, Philippe then François TIOLLIER settled on the estate, specialized in wine and stopped other productions. The estate increases from 10 to 20 hectares. In 2011, Sylvain TIOLLIER arrives in his turn on the estate, giving it a new lease of life, bringing a little modernity while preserving the traditions of these centuries-old wines. Philippe Tiollier winemaker Philippe is convinced that a great wine is made above all in the vineyard. Unconditional lover of the Savoyard terroir, which he knows by heart. For each field, he knew how to select the most suitable grape variety so that he gave the best grapes. François Tiollier winemaker With his Burgundian and Bordeaux experience in the production of great red wines, François very early perceived the potential of the Mondeuse grape variety. He contributed to the revival of this old Savoyard grape variety on the steepest hillsides of Cruet and Arbin. Sylvain Tiollier Junior Winemaker Sylvain is an oenologist by training.
