CHARACTERISTICS OF CHABLIS WINES
Under its fairly light color, pale gold or green gold, this white wine expresses a very fresh, lively and mineral nose; we find flint, green apple, lemon; undergrowth and fungus (mousseron). Notes of linden, mint, acacia are frequent, as well as aromas of licorice, cut hay. Age makes it a little more golden and spicy. On the palate, its aromas keep their freshness, their purity for a long time. Dry and perfectly fine, Chablis has a unique and easily identifiable personality.
The name "Chablis" is usurped on the five continents by wines that have no right to it. Be careful, be careful: there is only one real Chablis and it comes from Burgundy!
