Built in 1716, Quinta do Vallado is one of the oldest properties in the Douro Valley. Having belonged to the legendary Mrs. Antenia Adelaide Ferreira, it remained in the hands of her descendants.
La Quinta lies between the two banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, close to the town of Peso da Régua, 4 km from the train station and 120 km from Porto.
Tours are offered:
In French - 11am, 2.30pm and 4.30pm
In Portuguese - 12:00, 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
