We welcome you to our distillery in the heart of the Black Forest to make you discover our history and that of our gins.
The entrance fee for our tour includes a Monkey Tonic, a discount voucher redeemable in our distillery shop, as well as the opportunity to taste our Schwarzwald Dry Gin.
You will have the chance to discover the Schaberhof, a farmhouse built in the 1840s in the heart of the Black Forest, home to the Monkey 47 distillery and especially our magnificent stills. With us, using artisanal know-how is a matter of honor, which is why we only harvest our ingredients by hand.

In the 50s, following the adoption of a monkey named Max by Lieutenant Colonel "Monty" Collins of the Royal Air Force, he had the idea of creating a gin with the effigy of his animal. This gin never saw the light of day, but it was a local entrepreneur, Alexander Stein and Christoph Keller, a distinguished distiller who joined forces to revive the Gin recipe imagined by Collins.
