Domaine Eyguestre has a long family history. Indeed, the farm was created by Louis Bellion, my great-grandfather in 1919. He practiced polyculture there.
Naturally, my grandfather Ishmael succeeded him. He acquired several plots still intended for polyculture. It was he who mechanized the operation with the first tractors.
My father Lucien, in the early 1980s, mainly oriented the farm towards viticulture. At the end of my studies, I assisted him for 3 years before taking over the farm alone in 2000. At that time, I made the choice to specialize only in viticulture. I still kept the olive orchard to market my olive oil for direct sale.
I am therefore the representative of the fourth generation and responsible for the field for 20 years. Having the passion for my job, my terroir and wine, I wanted to value my work and get a product that resembles me.
