Description
Among our vineyards, we keep the emblematic vineyard of El Pago de Martinsancho, planted in the middle of the 19th century and which gives its name to the winery.
We maintain a traditional viticulture, with bush vineyards, thus ensuring the lowest human impact for the care of our raw material. This allows us to develop a complex organic and sustainable viticulture.
The harvest is done on optimal days and manually, to ensure that the grapes arrive intact in the cellar. It was founded in 1780 and has been passed down from generation to generation, while evolving over time. The winery has 6000-litre American oak vats, the essence of traditional winemaking.
We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard.
We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.

Rules and conditions
Visits at 1 euro means that they are made free of charge by the winemaker. This amount is requested to assure us of the seriousness of your request and to prevent the winemaker from blocking a visiting slot unnecessarily.
In case of unforeseen events, we thank you for cancelling your visit to the platform and/or notify the winemaker directly.

Belonging to a family of winemakers from La Seca that dates back to the 17th century. In 1982, in recognition of his work to save and maintain the Verdejo grape variety, King Don Juan Carlos awarded him the cross title of the Civil Order of Agricultural Merit. He was one of the founders of the DO Rueda. We, his heirs, maintain the passion and dedication with which Angel has worked his vineyards and developed his wine by integrating the latest technologies.
