Description

At the heart of the Condrieu appellation and on the northernmost part of the St Josephs, the Monteillet estate overlooks the Rhone North valley for IX generations.
The main thing of my job is to be in harmony with my environment, it goes through the respect of the plant and good practice in the cellars. It is also an agreement with his team where each person has his role to play.

We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard.
We will explain the work done in the vineyard, then that done in the winemaking to finish with the aging of the wines.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
We look forward to welcoming you very soon in our vineyards!

In the heart of the Condrieu appellation and on the northernmost part of The St Josephs, the Monteillet estate overlooks the Rhone Valley North for IX generations. Since the seventeenth century, the Monteillet estate belongs to the family of Villard whose most famous representative is Louis Hector, Duke of Villard, Marshal of France of Louis XIV ( winebnb.com ). Today Stéphane Montez succeeds his father Antoine, who has passed on all his know-how to him. Thus the Montez plant, vinify, raise and market their wines, on 38 hectares and four appellations.
