It's the desire to capture those sweet smells of returning from the beach, laughter, childhood joy, sweet moments shared with friends and distilling them into a premium Gin. A committed dream A quest for meaning The story of Melifera is also that of a desire to give meaning to what we do, that of doing well. The values of respect are at the center of this adventure. Like perfumers, we use a fruit still to extract all the aromas and share their delicate flavors Our immortal plants A local footprint In order to participate in the sustainable development of the island and to enhance its producers, we are committed to planting, as we have been doing for several years, our own immortal feet in the North of Oléron. If the immortal grows naturally in the hollow of the dunes, it is protected and wild gathering is prohibited. Planting our immortals and picking them up by hand is our way of celebrating timelessness. That of a magical place and that of the immortal flower with such a special scent. Protection of the black bee Apis Mellifera Mellifera At Melifera, we are committed to preserving biodiversity. True to the symbol of life that is the immortal, our local commitment contributes to the preservation of the black bee in the north of the island. We support the Conservatoire de l'Abeille Noire in Oléron and donate part of our income to finance genetic tests. More resistant than hybrids, however, it is only identified that these black bees can be protected. In keeping with a reasoned culture, flowers and bees participate in the cycle of life. Melifera is also about paying tribute to these precious workers. Our projects Dune stabilization Melifera is an actor committed to the preservation of its territory of origin. Inspired by the generosity of nature, she wants to give back by getting involved in actions to protect the coastline and coastal landscapes. Lovers of this island, it is essential for us to participate in its sustainability. We have sought since the beginning of the Melifera adventure to combine business and doing well, to continue the quest for meaning that is this activity. Beyond our plantations, our project is to contribute to the natural strengthening of the dune environment.
