Description

By visiting this site you will discover a Gascon estate that has its roots in a terroir intended for vines since Gallo-Roman times. Château de Lacquy has been in the same family since 1711 and has since then been devoted to the production of an exceptional Armagnac in the purest tradition, a totally natural product resulting from the marriage between wine, fire and oak, a unique product resulting from 300 years of experience and patience.

We will be delighted to give you a tour of our distillery to make you discover the history of our armagnacs, the work we do and the steps in the process of making our bottles.
We would be very happy to be able to welcome you to the Château de Lacquy!

The Château de Lacquy is a typical family estate of a Gascon estate producing Armagnac but having other activities and productions such as cereals and vegetables. The current castle was built in 1777 on the site of the former stately house. It was redesigned in 1910 by the construction of the north and south pavilions. The cellar built in 1876 for the aging of armagnac, is built very traditionally in stone, wood and tiles. It replaced an older winery that appears on the plans of the estate made in 1825. See less
