Today we count more than a hundred hectares of land, scattered in the region: Bourg, Blaye and Bordeaux.
The variety of our grape varieties and the aromatic richness that we are able to offer is a real pride!
We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard and to tell you more about the history of the Albert Schweitzer Vignoles and that of the Château de Thau.
We will explain the work done in the vineyard, then that done in the winemaking to finish with the aging of the wines.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
We look forward to welcoming you very soon in our vineyards!

For visits at 1€, this means that they are carried out free of charge by the winemaker. This amount is requested to ensure the seriousness of your request and avoid blocking a visit slot unnecessarily.
In case of unforeseen events, we thank you by correction to kindly cancel your visit to the platform.

For centuries, our Schweitzer family has striven to pass on from generation to generation our know-how and our passion for the vine. The Château de Thau, located on the Côtes de Bourg, was our first vineyard, which has grown over the years. The acquisition of new land, vineyards and castles have allowed us to vary our range of grape varieties, appellations and therefore wines. Our main goal was to perfect our offer while maintaining French and family know-how. See less
