Description

Laurent and Fabien, 8th generation on the field, have for master words: Tradition, Innovation and Quality.
They will be delighted to welcome you to Domaine Sarrabelle to show you around the place.
You will learn more about the history of the estate and that of the Caussé family who have been taking care of the estate for more than 8 generations.

The vineyards of the estate are located on the right bank of the Tarn and form two large ensembles located on either side of the ancient Roman road (Toulouse Rodez) now called the Toulze road.

We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard.
We will explain the work done in the vineyard, then that done in the winemaking to finish with the aging of the wines.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
We look forward to welcoming you to the estate very soon!

The visits at 1€ mean that they are carried out free of charge by the winemaker. This amount is requested to ensure the seriousness of your request and avoid the winemaker to block a visiting slot unnecessarily.
In case of unforeseen events, we thank you for cancelling your visit to the platform and/ or notifying the winegrower directly.

Legend has it that the source of Sarrabelle, which springs near the Medieval Castle of Montaigut, was the place of the romantic appointments of the beautiful Yolande. Its name comes from the Occitan "sarro-bello" which can be translated as: hug his beautiful. The castle, destroyed during the Albigensian Crusade, is preserved in its lower parts and above, is erected the Chapel of Montaigut. Today, Laurent and Fabien Caussé are the 8th generation of winemakers on the family estate. They cultivate 42 hectares of vines and create a diversity of five ranges of wines made in accordance with tradition. See less
