Description
In Southern Burgundy, in Viré, Domaine Montbarbon welcomes you on its farm of more than 13 hectares of vineyards. Installed in 1981 winemakers members of the Cave Cooperative de Viré, we decided after careful consideration decided to retire in 2008, to create our domain and live fully our craft as winemaker by developing and marketing our wine.
We work our vines following a protocol of reasoned cultivation with controlled grass, and a gradual return to tillage.
We would love to welcome you for a presentation of our cellar.
We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
We look forward to welcoming you very soon on the property.
