The vine in the blood Béatrice 3rd generation of winemaker in the Minervois, exploits the family vineyards on Caunes Minervois and the domain of Parazols. Jean-Marie, meanwhile, is the representative of an 8-generation long wine history in the town of Conques sur Orbiel, on a terroir that will become the Cabardes PDO in 1999. It is in a small cellar semi-buried under their own house in the heart of the Domaine de Parazols, that they vinify their first vintage. About ten hectares, for a few hundred bottles and some BIBS. From fair to market, the first tour in Brittany and the Domaine Parazols-Bertrou is launched. In 2005, an evening of intense reflection around a drink (or little be two), Jean-Marie to the revelation this new Cabardès who grows in the cellar, will have a name ... The "Neither Angel Nor Demon" was born, later he will explain that this name was inspired by his wife and mother-in-law, the story not saying who the demon was. Wine Domaine Parazols Bertrou-72907 Nans Legacy In 2010, freshly graduated from his wine and commercial studies, Nans, the eldest of the two sons joins the company to take care of the production of the now 40 hectares of the estate and the production of its juices. Jean-Marie spends a big part of his time highlighting the wines of the estate in the four corners of France, whether at the wine merchants or on salons. In 2012, after initially reappropriating his steps from the Parazolaise countryside, Jason the younger, in turn joins the family farm. The team is complete and always committed to making as many people as possible discover the wines of the estate. Colorful wines, with strong capital sympathy and the name always so evocative: "Breath of the Gods", "Secret of the Night" or "Tempest under the duvet". In 2016, Building on the success of our wine and private range, we decide to explore new horizons, by creating a range of wine intended for both export and mass distribution. "Chant des Pierres", "Arbre aux poètes" and Cie come to expand a range of wine that was already starting to be substantial (in 2020 our cuvée in PDO Minervois Blanc, "Les Cailloux Blanc" come to strengthen the range).
