Description

We are delighted to welcome you to Château Carbonnieux, Grand Cru Classé de Graves in white and red, for a visit to one of the oldest properties in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
We offer a fun and educational workshop to learn how to choose the ideal wine (red, white, young, old ...) according to the type of cheese (goat, cow, sheep, blue, ...). The participants, sitting around a table, let themselves be surprised and guided by two taste enthusiasts, Thierry or Véronique Lafitte, cheese refiners and a manager of Château Carbonnieux.
The tasting workshop is preceded by a guided tour of the vineyard and cellars during which you will discover:
- highlights of the history of the property
- the vineyard and its specific terroir
- Winemaking and ageing cellars in white and red
- As well as a collection room including antique cars, cooper tools and the "memory" of the Castle, the cellar where sleep more than a century of vintages.
