The Boehler family has its roots in Molsheim since at least 1650. It took 5 generations of tanners before Antoine Boehler (1759 - 1827) acquired the first plot on the heights of Molsheim, at a place called “Oberes Bruderthal ”, which we are proud to still cultivate. However, it was from the 1970s that the estate really took off with an estate that at that time counted 3 hectares, the epicenter of which is on the Bruderthal, long before this fabulous terroir obtained its recognition as a large believed. The estate now covers 8 hectares, only on the plots on the hillsides which have the best quality potential. Today, Josiane, René and Julien produce wines of great precision, in a style faithful to the family, engaged since 2018 in organic conversion. If we have to wait until 2021 to taste the first labeled vintage, which will give concrete form to the efforts made in recent years, we are already respecting the inherent specifications. See less
