Know a bit more about the domain

Champagne Dom Caudron has its origins in Passy-Grigny, a village in the Marne Valley, where a famous abbot, Aimé Caudron, had a visionary and promising idea... This generous epicurean was indeed an emblematic figure of the viticulture of this village in the Marne Valley. He loved to have lunch with the winegrowers of the village, enlivening the banquets with his enthusiasm. Dom Caudron understood that the wine served at their table, reserved for their daily pleasure, had a bright future. Meunier remained the grape of choice for these winegrowers. The high mastery of this original grape variety gave birth to a range of champagnes revealing its fruity character in multiple expressions, from the most accessible to the most complex. The winegrowers of Champagne Dom Caudron practice a reasoned viticulture. By combining their grapes, 90% of which come from the village of Passy-Grigny, as well as from neighboring villages, Champagne Dom Caudron produces high quality champagnes, representative of a unique terroir.
