Domaine Dehours - Terre de Meunier Extra Brut - BSA - Champagne

White

Description

It is a fruity and fresh champagne, ideal for the aperitif or to accompany a cocktail.
This cuvée is a blend of the finest Pinot Meunier vines of the estate. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, and the reserve wines, i.e. wines from previous years' harvests, are kept in oak barrels to gain in complexity. The bottles are then aged for 18 to 30 months in the cellars of the house, then very lightly dosed before being offered for tasting.
The cuvée has a pale gold color, with fine bubbles.
On the nose, it is a cuvée that evolves on notes of ripe fruits and a nice spicy touch.
The mouth is round, while keeping a nice freshness. We also find the fruity notes discovered in the nose.

Know a bit more about the domain

Anchored in the heart of the Marne Valley, 15 km from Epernay, our estate is located entirely on the left bank, and highlights terroirs made of clay and sand on limestone parent rocks. Our vineyard is composed of about forty plots planted mainly with Meunier. No herbicides are used, and the soil is maintained mechanically. From June 15th, we let a natural grassing develop that we will keep until the end of the following winter.
