CHATEAU MALESCOT - SAINT-EXUPERY - 2015 - Margaux

Red

Description

Malescot Saint-Exupéry is the cru that has made the most progress in the Margaux appellation. Today, it is Jean-Luc Zuger, representative of the family, who does everything possible to get the best out of his terroir and make the estate one of the great growths of the appellation.
A superb wine, one of the finest of the appellation. It now shows a flawless regularity. The mouth shows a superb concentration, with tannins of great finesse. A wine that needs between 8 and 20 years of ageing to deliver its full measure.

Know a bit more about the domain

On June 1, 1955, Paul and Roger Zuger bought the estate, which now has only 7 hectares of vines. Today the property has 28 hectares in the Margaux appellation. Three generations of Zugers have succeeded one another in bringing the estate back to life and restoring its reputation. In 1994, Jean-Luc took over from his father Roger.
Today, Catherine and Jean-Luc Zuger are the owners. Jean-Luc, the manager, does everything possible to make Malescot Saint-Exupéry one of the Grands Crus of the Margaux appellation.
