Know a bit more about the domain

Château Bonnange is a small property of nine hectares of 30-year-old vines on the best Blayais terroirs with limestone, clay and silt soils. A domain attached to certain values: respect for nature and the soil (no chemical weeding, the farmers live in the middle of the vineyards with their young children), natural approach to winemaking, freedom claimed to develop wines that reflect a vision that their own. Add an owner who gives the teams the means to work according to the rules of the art in the vines as in the cellar, and you will understand why these wines blindly follow the heels of the domains of the region at prices three or four times higher. . A perfectly successful range with a few single varietals on the fruit, and "chateau" or large cuvées cut for aging. Here, we harvest at maturity because we like the palatability of a ripe grape. If you happen to be in the region, do not hesitate to take a detour to this magnificent haven of peace, with its organic orchard and vegetable garden surrounded by vineyards.
