Description

Purple color with ruby reflections. Toasted smoky nose on a background of ripe berries. A clean, precise fruit, underlined by a subtle empyreumatic touch and polished tannins. Chewiness, hold, balance, length, all without excess.

Management of the vineyard in sustainable agriculture, certified High Environmental Value Level 3 (HVE3). Manual harvests, and traditional thermo-regulated vinification, with frequent pumping over.

The Savigneux family invites you to come and visit the Château d'Eyran, a place steeped in history since the first mentions of Château D’Eyran, then Lord of Burdos, were recorded as early as 1317.

An important work of restoration of the vineyard was carried out by Stéphane and Brigitte Savigneux in the 80s, then recently supported by their son Charles.
The 25 hectare estate is managed in compliance with the HVE3 label: High Environmental Value level 3

The property was equipped with a new winemaking cellar in 2017, made of traditional materials while adopting a modern aesthetic and equipment.
A beautiful gravel terroir, a historic property, a high-class cellar, talented winegrowers: all the conditions are in place for you to have a pleasant time at Château d'Eyran!
