Know a bit more about the domain

The Maison de Champagne André Robert is above all a family affair.

The ROBERT Family has been working the vines in Champagne for several generations. Henri Robert (1881-1948) began working the vines "en masse" after the First World War. In the 1930s, he created the first group of winegrowers in order to pool the means of pressing and vinification.

Immediately after the Second World War, André Robert, born in 1925, worked in the vineyard with the horse as a companion. In 1960, he bought the House which owns these marvelous 19th century chalk cellars and where our bottles currently rest. He began to market his bottles of Champagne in 1962.

Bathed in this world of Champagne since his earliest childhood, Bertrand Robert took charge of the estate in 1981, accompanied by his wife Colette, who joined the House in 1990.
