User profile description

The vine in inheritance A few kilometers from the hustle and bustle of Reims and Epernay, the Bernard Remy Champagne, created more than 50 years ago by Bernard Remy himself, stands out for its voluntary spirit. It is in Allemant, a small village on the Côte des Blancs, that the family transforms its grapes into Champagne wine. THE ORIGIN OF THE ALLEMANT VINEYARD In 1968, Bernard Remy bought his first vines in the village. He marketed his first vintages on the French market a few years later. It was in 1983 that he decided to build a real winery to develop his own wine and thus become "master" of his production. Wanting to expand his vineyard, he bought three more hectares in 1986, tripling his production. As the cellar became too narrow to store these exceptional bubbles, he expanded it in 1990, 1997 and again in 2008 allowing the bottles to age in the best conditions and leaving time to complete his work. A FATHER-TO-SON TRANSMISSION Rudy, his son, who arrived on the farm in 1996, took over the house in 2008, but Bernard is never far away. The discreet family home has always seen its turnover increase gradually and steadily thanks to the word of mouth of its customers. CHAMPAGNE - EXPORT With her experience in the French market, she started in 2002 to bet on international markets. First of all in Belgium and Germany, the company has gradually conquered European markets thanks to the quality of its wines, its consistency, and above all its ability to adapt to the most complex expectations. The company is now moving towards the big export, with a nice presence in Europe and some successes around the world as in ASIA and North America and Latin America.
