Gaillac
User profile description

50 km north-east of Toulouse, Gaillac is one of the most important vineyards in the south-west of France. The Domaine des Terrisses is situated on the very first slopes overlooking the town of Gaillac where the Romans and then the Benedictines of the Saint Michel Abbey (10th century) already cultivated vines. The Domaine is made up of 40 hectares of traditional grape varieties. L'en de l'el and Mauzac for the whites. Braucol, Duras and Prunelart for the reds. 7 generations have helped to shape the Cazottes vineyard, patiently selecting the grape varieties, plots and winemaking methods that combine new technologies and ancestral know-how. Thanks to our intensive care, our wines are racy and typical, of very high aromatic expression with a lot of personality.
