The best way to tell the story of Vodka Bio Le Philtre is to go back forty years. I met Guillaume Rappeneau in the 1980s. Together, we founded Caca's Club in 1984, a group of Parisian revelers who organized balls disguised in the most unusual clubs. Although a little more serious (in appearance), my brother Charles actively participated in our chaotic encounters. The three hedonists that we are have since become inseparable. Photos by © David Vital-Durand A common dream Photos by © David Vital-Durand Two years ago, the three of us were sitting on the beach of Guéthary, watching the sunset, enjoying a caipirovska while building castles in the air. We were thinking about lamentations about global warming, air pollution, shrinking beaches and other disasters that we felt powerless against. I mumbled the theme of my anti-commercial novel "99 francs": Would it not be possible to drink vodka without harming our planet? "Wouldn't it be possible to drink vodka without damaging our planet? » A dish of sand Birth an idea At dusk, disobedience sometimes leads to crazy ambitions in 50-year-olds. We finished our old-fashioned cocktails and made ambitious plans on a paper towel: to create a vodka that would have the least impact on the environment. We began to dream of an all-natural vodka, organic, with a recycled bottle, without any chemical additives, and without any added sugar. Vodka Bio Le Philtre was born.
