User profile description

More than 3 centuries of passion For a long time, the estate was not entirely devoted to the vine: wheat, fruit trees and cattle were also raised there. Then, from 1977, the family devoted itself entirely to the vine and abandoned polyculture. Antoine Arena, father of Jean-Baptiste took over the family torch in 1976; or one year after the events of the cellar of Aléria which make him react and make this return to the land a militant act both culturally and politically. He considerably enlarged the estate which then had only 3 hectares to bring it to 14 hectares. John the Baptist has always been immersed in this environment. His parents, Antoine and Marie, never forced him to turn to viticulture. After a few years of law, the call of the land is felt very early and he decides to return to Corsica to work at the estate alongside his father. A year later, his brother Antoine-Marie joined them there. Today the two brothers each have their own domain entity but continue to work together. 1976 - The First Bottle The estate first produces a wine intended to feed the Bastia canteens, ancestors of the wine bars. He also exported to Tuscan land in Pisa and Florence, where the wine was transported in barrels. The bottle sale of the estate began in the 1970s.
