User profile description

The history of the Domaine d'Ognoas dates back to the Middle Ages. It was in turn seigneurial domain, then ecclesiastical property and since the beginning of the twentieth century, public property since it belongs to the Departmental Council of the Landes. Today, the Domaine d'Ognoas is an agricultural farm that combines viticulture on nearly 50 hectares, agriculture (corn, soybeans and sunflower) on a total area of more than 100 hectares. Its forest has some 300 hectares, providing the wood to make armagnac barrels.
