Château Caruel is a former family property. Charles Auduteau, the ancestor winemaker, in 1730, was already working on the core of the estate. Pierre, a hundred years later, proceeds to enlarges and rebuilds the façade of the house as it stands today. To this day, the CHATEAU CARUEL vineyard located 35 km from Bordeaux and 2 km west of Bourg sur Gironde, continues to be operated by the Auduteau family.
